Would rather have a #3 dman who plays 82 games, puts up 40+ points and makes 2 million less then a player who will miss half the season and take up more cap space. Letang is better but not as valuable.

funny how you only go 2 seasons instead of 3 other wise it would be 60 less games. Either way Letang is more expensive, injury prone and the same age. If we didn't have Weber as a #1 already I would welcome the trade but the way it is now Id rather have Petry for 18-20 mins a night 82 games.

Im not saying Petry is better in any way, but Letang is a #1 dman, we have that with Weber. I just wouldn't want over $14 million tied up on two defenceman over 32 years old and both missed signifigant time over the past couple yeas.
