<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>mhockey91</b></div><div>They need to draft a C this year if available</div></div>

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>dpdan</b></div><div>I’m curious to see how many of their C prospects end up on the wing. Pool is very shallow in that department compared to other positions. Studs and Frederick come to mind. I know the team likes them in the middle ling term, but Studs especially won’t play any real minutes at C this year.

Which brings me to a question:
I know that any time an ACGM team comes out with Studs on the 4th line everyone immediately dismisses it. But hear me out: his coaches at Providence loved his 200 foot game and put him the PK1. Cassidy has already given him PK minutes in camp showing what he thinks of Studnika’s defensive game. Would giving him some time on the 4th line be such a waste of his time? If he’s going to stick in Boston this year after Pasta comes back where does he play? The top 3 lines are set at center and RW so does he spend the year in Providence again developing more at center or get more reps at the NHL level sliding up and down the line up? Also consider just how bad the 4th line was last year (on both ends of the ice). Does getting a little more skill on that line help?

Just curious to see what people think</div></div>

Nah of course this is where the speculation comes in, Freddy, Beecher, Stud, Becker, Steen are all Center prospects that could certainly crack the roster
But then there is Stud who can play RW, Freddy might move to LW, Steen is starting to look like a Rw, so who knows. Obviously there is nothing wrong with drafting Centers cuz it seems like its easier to move from C to Wing than from Wing to C...

<a href="/users/dpdan" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">@dpdan</a> to your next point. I honestly dont know. I feel like 4th line minutes wont be good for him, but I am also not an NHL coach / GM... Also yeah this is why I hated the Smith signing. Im sure he is a good middle 6 guy, but between Stud, Kase, Bjork, Coyle, and a bunch of other guys, it creates the problem where they dont have space for some of these guys to play now! who knows but all good points yall

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>TMLBRIAN</b></div><div>well they have to do something. Any Tampa team I have made, regardless of who I trade, I get responses like yours. Tampa won't trade them or can't. They have to do something!

As for Detroit side of things, I think they should do it. Johnson can still play and is a good player and they get an amazing piece in Cirelli. Would help them out a lot.</div></div>

aedoran is pretty level headed. This isn't directed at him. But I hear ya. I've created many Tampa ACGM rosters on here too and most responses are negative. They basically just parrot each other from what they've all read on Spector's, HF boards, TSN, etc. There's no original thought. No one's splitting the atom here. They just like hearing themselves talk. They'll continue repeating themselves ad nauseum. It's quite hilarious actually.

As for Tampa, you're right. Something has to happen. And it will. My guess is they'll somehow get out of cap jail and all the jealous non Tampa fans will cry and complain and be angry that they didn't bleed through their noses like they should've.

But don't let the CFACGM geniuses get you down. None of these guy's are being paid by NHL teams. In their minds trades can never happen because they just can't. I always say that I could travel in the future to one year from now and find out all future trades for the next year.

Then travel back to now and post every one of these trades on CF ACGM and I'd be told by the resident wannabe expert CF ACGM geniuses that these trades can never happen. That's CF ACGM for you.
