I don't get it either!!!! Puckpedia's draft pick value calculator is based on that damn draft pick value chart. It's meant to be used as an approximation because it only takes into account one factor and that's draft position. It absolutely blows my mind when someone when someone uses that chart to justify their trade.

Does Hischier = Bedard? They were both taken 1st overall and according to that chart they are equal.

Its not meant to quantify values of players and where they were picked in their draft year.

Its meant to quantify value of draft picks relative to each other.

Its based on actual trades in the past.

But every draft is different talent wise so going off past trade value of picks doesn't make it more accurate. You are trying to predict something with a ridiculous amount of variables and then you want to apply it to all trades involving draft picks. I'm sorry but it simply can't be done and if it could be done It would make the game a lot more boring!!! One of the things that make pro sports exciting in the chance involved nothing is certain.

Oh, you are preaching to the choir, man. But I literally meant that it was not working for me. I tried to use it (for the first time, I think) and the page is missing buttons.

Right, but how do I get it to work? The only button I see, both mobile and PC, is the clear button.
