Detroit passes, No room for a guy who hasn't put up a single 40 point season in his entire career.

No reason for Carolina to make that trade, Picks more than likely will be late and the players aren't a major upgrade for them.

KKs value is killed by his contract. He's an NHL player, but not at that cost for 6 more years.

You're farther ahead hoping CAR buys him out and try to sign him.

Wings pass on Dvorak, the value is fine but we have to promote the youth

For example Berggren is no longer waiver exempt he's either being dealt or makes the team next year

Likewise he's what a 35 point player, even at half retained I'd rather see Kasper/Danielson take a 3rd line winger spot and put up similar numbers on a ELC

Guessing you're part of the scouts team and know what they want... Even know that could not flip those assets and picks for a current player...?

Why do people answer thing like "Team says no. They don't want this!" instead of "My view on this trade would be that I think the team would rather etc etc etc..."

Okay... why don't YOU flip those assets for a player the Canes are interested in? LeBrun reported that the Canes do not want futures, that's a fact. The Canes want a star player for Necas. So, being realistic, the Canes pass. Don't try and pipe up if you don't know WHY fans are saying what they're saying

I can't imagine Anaheim having any interest in trading out of the first round in order to add Jordan Harris to Pavel Mintyukov, Olen Zellweger, Jackson LaCombe and Urho Vaakanainen, to mention nothing of our other three NHL defensemen.

Also said they may not get what they want in return. So don't try and pipe up if YOU don't know what would interest the Canes if it's put on the table once every other team pass on giving up a star player for a up and comer who had one 70pts year, and got 53 the next with a 5 game difference, which are both his best out of 5 years. Hurt or not, 20 pts is a lot unless and arm and a leg were falling off of him.

If Canes want an actual star player for him they'll most likely need to pay with a 1st round pick. Let's say Marner... Necas ain't gonna be one for one. He'll go to TO with a 1st round pick no conditions on it...

Same for the prospects, but I think they would try to get someone like Jalen Chatfield, Vincent Desharnais, or Brandon Montour before Barrie. Even try to make a play for Matt Roy if they can give him enough to come over to MTL. You also have guys like Grzelcyk or Pesce.

MTL have enough cap room to sign someone for 3 to 4 years without hurting the cap.

Barrie has been horrible, so I don't see why they'd go for him.

Necas would get rental Marner 1 for 1 probably, because of the cap offset, and Marner being a renowned playoff ghost, but that's a bad example. They're not taking futures for Necas. End of conversation, don't pipeup unless you know what you're talking about.

Marner for Necas one for one.. And you think Marner would just pick up and leave without an extension? You're dreaming.. LMAO!!

Necas for Marner.. 1 for 1.. OMG.. Treliving gets fired on the spot.. When I said Marner for Necas and a 1st no conditions, I should have underlined that this would be a base line for Toronto to start having conversations and then ask for more..

Like you said.. don't pipeup unless you know what you're talking about.. Ish..

You need Matheson. At this price, you obviously keep him.

Look at your LDs. You cant start this season with this D
