in general the feedback i have received is either

a) hronek would not be the first choice for some ANA fans but for the right price it could be done
b) 1st plus vatrano might be a bit rich. tbh i would add a mid round pick on vas side to push it thorugh

maybe. even with guentzel, skjei, jarvis, drury, chatfield, and teravainen all free agents as well, maybe they'd rather take the assets and keep other guys

I think I would do a second and Vatrano for Hronek too. I obviously would choose Pesce over Hronek because of not having to give up assets. But getting a good RHD that is 26 would be great because of the timeline of the Ducks.

I think the price could be etched a bit to work better, but I really like the idea of Hronek in SoCal

Feels a bit rich, and is largely dependant on Hroneks salary requests. He's turned down a 6.5x8 already from what we've heard. I'm not sure I really want to pay him past 6.5 on an 8 year deal. I might be willing to offer more AAV, but I would be taking away term.

Franky is on an amazing contract for what he's shown he can bring the last two seasons. I would probably counter with the Boston 2nd instead of the Edmonton first, and then settle in the middle for the Anaheim 2nd with something minor coming back the other with with Hronek, but again, all depends on his salary demands.

I think that we're all in agreement here. My initial reaction before reading your comments was that I would be wary of making any deal until I knew what Hronek's asking price is, and my trade valuation s the same as Gibby's -- the Boston second and Vatrano or, my particular preference, the Edmonton first plus someone else instead of Frankie. (Jones? Lundestrom? Groulx? LaCombe? Vaakanainen?)
