Idk if Toffoli just didn't want to be a Jet even for a short time, was injured or what but the guy looked absolutely cooked with the Jets, he is sooooooo slow.

All the Markstrom rumors of circling back seem like BS to me. Fitz never said he was gonna go back to Calgary and it just feels like it was the last thing they heard at the deadline and NJ still needs a goalie so they’re connecting 1 and 2.. Markstrom is an awful target for a goalie and I’m pretty sure Fitz knows that

You're right it probably costs more Isles traded a 2nd to chicago to buy out Bailey and the cap hit for 2 years was 2.6 then 1.1 and was 2.3m real dollars while lees would be 3.5x2 and a little over 5 mill

Palat plays a more defensive role with NJ doesn't get any time with Hughes at all like he did Kucherov in Tampa probably is the 2nd best defensive forward behind Hischier IMO he's barely overpaid maybe by 1-1.5m per year its not a huge deal like Toffoli would be if the goal scoring falls off

I remember hearing from Friedman that Toffoli was looking for a Killorn type contract.
