I think from a value perspective, all of these trades can happen. Easier said than done though. It just comes down to what each team is looking for in a return.
Ullmark is worth a late first rounder, which NJ's 2025 pick will likely be, especially considering how weak the metro is at the moment. a top 3 spot is theirs to lose. I can't imagine they value their picks a whole ton considering how young they are.
Rossi's trade value is tough to gauge. Lysell is the main piece heading back. I've heard they're looking for bigger forwards, so Frederic is a fitting return. He's still only 26 so fits their timeframe well and can plug right into their middle 6 and score roughly 20 goals a year. I'd be ok with adding a first if needed, instead of the second and/or third. Seems like Rossi's stock has dropped a fair amount since draft year, but that's pretty normal.
I know the canes are looking for a second line center, so coyle would be a natural return, but his value is probably lower, so adding the first makes sense and should even it out pretty well. Both players had similar years production wise, coyle is better defensively and on the dot, but Necas is younger and has more upside. I think this trade is pretty fair and realistic. And contract wise, probably around 6m or so? Tough to gauge.
Aho, Jones, Maroon, and Heinen all fitting depth pieces that I like. But depth isn't their issue lol.
Swayman, roughly a 7x7 seems fair. Hasn't proven himself quite enough, but has shown clear potential after this playoff run so it's hard to argue against it. 7-7.5 seems about right.
Debrusk is probably somewhere around 5-6m, I could see someone paying him a hair over 6 on the open market, but it sounds like he wants to stick here. I don't think management brings him back unfortunately.
The Lindholm contract is anyone's guess... barring a cup run from VAN with Lindholm being a key factor, I see his value around 7m or so on the market. His contract won't age well but it is what it is, no other options are out there.
I think you did a good job trying to make it realistic. I find Lindholm dangerously overrated so I would be terrified of that contract personally.
I think he's a little overrated too, and this is definitely an overpayment. The perfect world contract for him is probably about the 4x6 Taylor Hall signed back in 2021.
There are two reasons I would sign this contract:
1: There is no other option at center as far as UFAs or trading goes, so having him during pasta's prime is better than running back what we know doesn't work
2: He can play right wing pretty well too, so if this contract does end up aging poorly, he can be a middle six winger for the final couple years. And if they do happen to find a center in the meantime, same thing. That would be an excellent problem to have
I don't see the Canes doing that. They needed a 2C, but now I think they are entering a soft retool. They might still be competitive, but by the time they work the kinks out with the young guys, Coyle's contract will be up and he will be up there in age. They need a better long term solution.

There are three ways to acquire a player
1. Free agency
2. Player Development / Draft
3. Trades
We lack draft capital and our prospect list has been depleted. The open issue with free agency is you likely have to overpay in terms of term and Lindholm is no exception.
Coyle isn't going anywhere, but I do like the idea of bringing in Necas.
I like Necas as a target as well, but Coyle is a better all around option than Necas. You can keep Coyle and add cheaper, one dimensional, offense in free agency and be better off.
Rossi feels redundant when we already have Poitras
I will admit that if Rossi were to fully max out his potential it could be a better than Poitras’
Bergeron/Krejci was a solid duo for a while, I'd be good with 2 top centers haha. Lindholm probably only has another 3ish years of being able to hold that role down, which is good timing with Poitras/Rossi to fully take over 1 and 2 c

I've already told you Lindholm will be ZERO upgrade over Coyle for a lot more money. I hope Sweeney signs him to this deal. I expect him to be a liability from day one.
Like Necas as a target, but not Lindholm at that term
Theres better 3LD options than Aho and Id think Bussi would beat out Martin Jones for backup spot, the 34yo veteran goalie can sit in Providence, rather see what they got in Bussi
This is a good team you constructed though, much improvement in the top 9

I just feel like it could be hard to win in the playoffs with the top 2 centers being 5’11 and 5’9
Then again if this new generation of “undersized” centers (Jack Hughes, Celebrini, etc.) can cut it at an elite level I don’t see why Rossi would be any different
