The most confusing part of this is how disparate the value of the returns are. On the one hand, you have CLB giving up a veritable ****load in Werenski, Sillinger, AND their 1st. On the other, you have CHI giving up two middling vets and Tampa's 1st OR PHI sending a massive cap dump, Cates and their 1st. Werenski alone is worth more than both of those pacakges, let alone adding Sillinger and their 1st.

I don't claim to know what Marner would return in a trade as there are so many moving parts, but you at least ought to do better at maintaining internal consistency.

PHI trade - kinda like it.

NYI trade - not worth it for Isles.

CBJ trade - not worth it for CBJ

CHI trade - bad for Leafs

ARI/UTAH trade - kinda mid for Leafs, Vejmelka carries this trade hard

LA trade - value is there for Kings, but I doubt they can afford that
