That's not exactly his strong suit either but he's okay at it.
I just mentioned his points cause it was mentioned that he provides some offense, do think he's far better suited to a 2nd or 3rd pair role, anyone thinking the Jets were going anywhere with Dylan DeMelo as their top pair RHD are delusional.
I don't know what is the Bruins problem, the last couple games I saw they weren't getting many decent scoring chances and weren't keeping possession in the offensive zone, not sure they're defense is their problem, don't think it is.
Bruins just keep coming out slow they do good the last half of the game but they start so damn slow. But I do think bruins transitional game is their weakness, Monty’s system likes having the defence be aggressive offensively but the issue is we don’t have Colorados defence that is filled with 6 mobile dmen that are capable of entering the zone with the puck.
Mcavoy and lohrei have done great at not getting nervous and being calm on the puck and gaining clean entries into the zone.
Grzelcyk: has been a problem he either passes it off to another dman to do the work( usually Carlo his problem coming next) or he gets nervous because he’s getting pressured and dumps the puck in an area where Boston can’t even attempt to try and get a retrieval because we are making a line change or because the offence is positioned for him to dump down the left side boards and instead he floats it way right.
Carlo: Carlo is a great shutdown dman but this system has him trying to be something he isn’t. Too frequently Carlo is trying to move the puck up the ice ( sometimes not his fault aka grzelcyk) but he doesn’t have the hands nor really offensive skill to do that on a consistent basis, he usually ends up turning the puck over or does his signature slap shot around the right side boards that goes so damn hard it flys by everyone on the left side. He needs to get back to his original play of first man back last man forward. He has a good hard shot but he needs to be a trailer not the truck leading the charge.
Lindholm: I feel bad for lindholm he’s really having to do it all out there. He looks great with mcavoy and even peeke due to peeks more aggressive defensive approach, but when he is with Carlo he’s invisible. Lindholm is a good play driver and great passer but it seems like he is holding back, I think this is because of Carlo trying to be to aggressive offensively and lindholm being forced to cover defensively for him when it should be the other way around, he’s also been our most relied on dman for top line matchups and gets sewered for offensive zone time.
