The Leaf don't or need a 4m goalie especially Elvis. There are better cheaper goalies as UFAs.

Curious which UFA goalies you think are good? The market looks awful this year and there will be lots of competition for them. Going to be lots of overpays for terrible goaltending for teams looking for starting goalies

Looking at the UFA list, I would say there are 10 goalies I would prefer over Elvis...cheaper, better, and don't cost anything to acquire. Don't get got up on "starting goalie". All goalies who start the game or starting goalies. And the Leafs have Woll

Cheaper? Sure. Better? Definitely not 10 maybe not even 3. By starting goalie I mean goalies that are capable of handling a full playing load. Wouldn’t trust any UFAs outside of maybe Ned to start more than 20 games for my team. Even he was pretty bad until he played behind a decent Pens defense.
