The Jets don't have the cap space or an extra roster spot to waste on Hamonic.

I'd be interested to know what chabots actual value is, hasn't been able to stay healthy in years, can produce points but struggles on defense. I don't know if I see Washington making that deal but maybe someone gives you a 1st hoping he turns it around, not likely though

Pitt and Boston say no. Those picks don't get you a top 10 and Ullmark needs something that Boston needs in any trade

That's interesting for Ullmark. On one hand it's a lot for one year of Ullmark. On the other hand, while I like Jarventie, it's not THAT much for Ullmark to solve the goalie problem since Craig Anderson left... It really depends on whether they're able to re-sign him for a similar number. Which will be hard when you're paying Korpisalo $4M.

Yea, I think they either have to buy him out or ride out the year with him on the roster. As long as they aren't up against the cap this year having him on the roster is tempting - get it over with this year, and there's the potential that he could be needed with some injuries.

Yeah, the Jets still have the Wheeler buyout on the books and might buy out Schmidt, they can't afford to have a replacement level player, making that much, with an NMC that can't be buried in the minors.

How did Pittsburgh end up with 9th in this scenario?

DJ smith ruined him making him play 50mins a night during their peak tear down years like he’s prime Karlsson. I’m sure with a real Coach next year he will bounce back defensively. Under Jacques their points went down but their defensive structure improved compared to the start of the season. I mean that’s the hope anyway lol

Chychrun for Ullmark seems to be a deal that makes sense for both teams. Maybe add Forsberg with retention to get him off the books.

It will require a likely extension for Ullmark for him to consider it.

Jarventie and two seconds is a decent offer, but my assumption is Forsberg is a negative contract and that kind of diminishes the offer.
