Easy no for us. Thomas is not being traded at all

I would concievably move Kyrou in a trade for B. Tkachuk, but definitely not Thomas.

Moving Thomas would only prolong this rebuild. We have no other C on the roster who should be playing in the top six let alone the top line.

Even that, different style of player obviously (and Tkachuk would obviously be more endearing to Blues fans for that reason, among others) but Kyrou and Brady Tkachuk are pretty much the same caliber of player. Good offensively (though in a way that makes you think there's always going to be another level that they just can't seem to reach) and defensively suspect. And frankly Kyrou has been perfectly good this season defensively while producing points at nearly the same pace.

Potentially more "leadership" with Tkachuk but I'm not sure how much of that reputation just comes down to "he'll fight people when they're losing".

Thomas, of course, is in a different stratosphere altogether.

As said with the previous responses, Thomas surely is not available.

IF (and that's a big if) the Blues traded for Brady, it would be to play with Thomas since they're buddies. Wouldn't want to send Kyrou personally since I'm sold on him improving a ton over the next few years

You’re barking up the wrong tree if you want to trade for Thomas.

Switching in Kyrou for Thomas in this proposal as others have said could make some sense. We’re still killing our already weak scoring depth in doing so, and I really fail to see any clear separation between Kyrou and Tkachuk.
