First off, I don't think the Sens should move Chabot. He is an elite play driver when playing at his best and if the Sens can find a solid shutdown D to pair him with in the offseason (Tanev, DeMelo) his defensive flaws won't get exploited as much and he will thrive. Secondly, Canes would not be a good fit for Chabot. He would have a pretty tough time adjusting to playing for a team that actually has a system. Also, even if the Canes move Skjei, they still have Orlov and Nikishin so they are fine at LD.
