Description
Ranking is about how good they are right now (no projections). This is why Bedard is actually behind Hughes.

Byfield and Mercer were considered, but were not included in the ranking since they most often play as wingers.

Honorable mentions to Shane Pinto, Anton Lundell, Morgan Frost, Logan Cooley and Kirby Dach

Stutzle is horriblie defensively.

Suzuki have more chances to contribute your team to win a championship than Stutzle.

I explain that choice with the argument that Suzuki is a more complete player (200 ft game) and that he showed he could step up his game in the playoffs.

Suzuki is not ahead of Stutzle. I’d also put Stutzle above Thomas but that’s closer

Right now, Bedard has no business being anywhere near the top four. It could be well argued he's not currently top 10. Those four guys are all worlds better than Bedard right now.

I think Wyatt is above Cozens and McTavish right now. I know he just had a monster game so you might say "recency bias", but he's been rock solid for 2 years and in the playoffs.

Pettersson? Hischier? When is cut-off?

Stutzle should be #2. I may also move Wyatt and Cozens up a spot or two, Suzuki and Bedard down a spot or two.

Stutzle is good but Suzuki is just more consistent
He gets better each year steadily while Stutzle had a Stand out Year with 90 pts then back down to his median 55-60 pts
Given his age still really good not a criticism just stating how it plays out numbers wise.

Suzuki it was 41 the in a shortened season 41 again on pace for like 50-55 pts but i digress
Then 61 with 66 last and so far this year 61 pts on pace for 81pts if we discount the fact a lot of his scoring came in the last 15 games and it'll likely be more close to 90 pts.
Suzuki is on a steady Progression growing into the role of a True #1 Center in the NHL today.
Stutzle will be every bit the Center Suzuki as soon as he learns to win a faceoff cause outside that there's not much separating the two long term

Again Stutzle is great i dont subscribe to the off ice trolling i just look at his play and while he plays most all games and show up
I just dont see how he tops last year(but if he does he's deffinately #3 then)
I feel while he and Suzuki are Peers for sure that Suzuki is more Consistent and Top 3 Among the Leagues Iron Man Streak Holders having never missed a Day
His Consistency is something i've never witnessed in my life time outside Price until Kreider took his Knee out in 2015 i think it was but i digress.

yeah, I feel you on that, to a certain point. Bedard as of rn isnt ppg and is also bad defensively.

Pettersson and Hischier are 25. Title mention ''under 25yo''. I thought this should be pretty easy to understand..

I think in the Bedard's case we should not check only pure stats, he's by far the one playing with the worst team/worst linemates. Must be hard being a ppg player playing with Foligno and Kurashev.
I do understand your point, but I think Bedard already as that game changer magic that don't necessarily shows on stats

Stutzle is scoring next to a point per game this season. He's going to end up with around 80 again, not 55-60. You aren't even close.
