Adding goons probably isn’t going to help generate more wins. It will be satisfying to see opponents held accountable for their cheap shots…but it probably results in more goons taking runs at us. We’re not going to win many goon-offs.

To be constructive, MTL would listen if you offered Mercer instead of Bahl.

We need something to protect them. They can't do it themselves. They are getting out manned. We need some sort of thuggery. Look at Florida. They have guys that can hit you into next week and can score. We are not built correctly.

I am supportive of adding physical players, even goons if need be...
I just think we also have to solve issues with puck protection, goaltending, etc.

Devils didn't really have a ton of goons...Peluso, Oliwa....rarely more than one on team at a time.
