But the fact that Montreal got a 1st from Calgary for the player, then resigned to a 1 year low contract to get another 1st is highway robbery. A 1st alone this year based on contract and decent play for 2/3 center is a not bad trade. But all together, they got 2 1sts for Monahan. That is highway robbery together for as you said a number 3 center and not much more.
