TRADES MADE AT 2024 TDL

This lineup looks really good. If any dispute on Holtz, think you still beef that trade up to get him. The anchors of Suzuki/Caufield sets this, similarly aged, group up to be able to get all signed long term and be a real perennial threat every year. Goalie still a question mark (?), but if Dobes can hit think that locks us in.

TAXI SQUAD - listing out all higher end/ceiling prospects also itching to make the jump up in 2025-26 once clear out some other contracts off the books + the 2024 1st round pick (hopefully another FWD Shooter can be grabbed)

No Slafkovsky, no Reinbacher, no Montreal 2024, no call back.

Quantity (and much of it isn't even A-level quantity) doesn't equal quality. You wouldn't trade Cole Caufield for that, so why should Anaheim accept it for a guy who's performed at the same level?

I am interested in why you say that. Just looking at his stats (already 24 years old, 6th round pick, 5 foot 10 and 175 pounds + has never been over a point per game in the KHL (or the lower league MHL for that matter)). I don’t follow the Avalanche, so there could be something I am missing, but is he really “untouchable “?

He’s a Russian who only signed in Colorado because they’d burn a year of his ELC. His dad is also a high up Russian hockey guy. He’s done very well in the KHL. Trading him before he plays one game in the NHL (expected this season) would be a bad move that would hurt our chances to ever sign another KHL guy
