Minny isn’t trading their Calder candidate D man for a pile of stuff

That Faber deal is so bad! That is no where near enough to get Faber from the hometown club. No firsts, low level prospects. Billy G easily hangs up the phone and probably doesn't answer you for awhile. A deal would easily include Knies, Multiple 1sts and that gets you in the ball park. This does absolutely nothing for the Wild.

if one more trade for a goalie says "hart will be gone for awhile" Ima lose it

just like check stats and number of starts before thinking Hart was our main guy this year

Flyers have tons of goalies in the system and Petersen/Sandstrom for backup(and passed up a cheap goalie on for free on waivers in Prosvetov) + Flyers have tried Jones before he wasn't great here

That actually maybe in the top 5 worst trade proposals I have ever seen on CF.

1. Minny would want a relative Faber replacement, and Neimela isn't that

2. Choose one of Minten, Cowan or Knies.....

3. Add a 1st rounder the Leafs simply don't have to give.

4. Spike Guerin's drink

Is Faber a player the Leafs would want? Yup. Absolutely. But at least attempt to make an offer. Faber is a stud now..... what he will be in 5 years may have him in some Norris conversations.

Agree with the contributors above, that Minni is so bad for the Wild
Sanheim has had a good year but finally but certainly don't him for seven full seasons. Leafs keep Brodie for the season, the first and have cap next season
No thanks on the middling Trevin at that price. You don't appreciate how good Holmberg has been lately.

Why not throw in a few more 7th round picks, a Zamboni that needs engine work, Justin Bieber, and Reaves. Or did you miss spell Middleton ( in that case you are overpaying). As hard as it is to understand for those who don't watch Faber every game the Wild probably wouldn't trade him for Marner or Nylander.

Sanhiem looks like a big guy who plays small, not what the leafs are looking for.

Leaf fans are hilarious. Downplaying Sanheim who’s a true number 1 beast, then trading for guys like Risto and Peeke.tears of joy

Every time a Leaf trade is posted, I’m reminded of how crappy their “assets” are.

Flyers don't need an emergency goalie solution. It's Erssons net with Petersen backing remainder of the season, Flyers are rebuilding still so losing more games having Petersen backing is a blessing in disguise. They will still be rebuilding next year so they are likely looking at Ersson + Sandstrom or Kolosov in net. Flyers won't be "buyers" or "contenders" for atleast 2 more years before they start to transition.

But if you want to have a serious talk about Sanheim you are looking at 1 first round pick plus or a top end D prospect.

sanheim is not a true #1, started the year playing like one but his play has since fallen off. realistically the best he could be is a #2, but likely will remain someone who can lead a 2nd pair

I'm legit surprised you didn't sneak Leafs legend Jeremy Bracco into the Faber trade to really put it over the top.
