If the Flyers pick 12th, I'd hope we go forwards since presumably Buium and even Yakemchuk will be gone by then, I have more faith that Catton or even Eiserman will be there at 12 than Buium, and trying to trade up for him would be risky because of how volatile the rankings are this year

Atkinson needs a change of scenery, not the guy have a down year in his SECOND year in the NHL

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>littlejerryseinfeld</b></div><div>Wait what?</div></div>
I think at this point everyone in the flyers org (and the fans) have realized that Frost is by far the most skilled playmaker on the team, he has a skill set that literally no one on the team has, a top 15 protected pick and Nadeau (who has spent most of this season in ECHL) isn't enough to get the flyers to part with Frost at this point

Flyers offszn
Chicago deal is interesting but the only way I really see it happening is if Chicago ends up needing contracts to reach the cap floor or just bodies in general
the only thing I see not happening is the Necas Offer Sheet, Briere and Waddell basically circumvented the cap last offseason in a deal that (at the time) was solid for both sides, I don't think Briere would want to ruin that relationship by Offer Sheeting one of the their best younger players

Suggesting any team not run by Chuck Fletcher will give up a 1st and a 2nd for Risto is really funny

Flyers literally just signed Poehling to an extension to be potential replacement to Laughton, they aren't gonna trade him for a 5th

Possible Nightmare TDL Incoming
Worst timeline - Seeler extended 2.5+, Walker extended 4+ for anything over 2 years, trade assets for a rental, this confirms that the "rebuild" was thrown out the window the second we started doing good (ignoring longevity for this years probably unsustainable playoff run) and imo this team is no where near a true contender and adding Michkov (as good as he is) is just gonna create another Giroux situation
best timeline - Danny gets all the prices he's asking for, trade Walker for a 1st, Seeler for a 3rd or a 2nd if a team values his playstyle that much, trading laughton for a 1st+ would also be cool but honestly I'd be fine keeping him too

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>hagshockey13</b></div><div>Forget about the mtl trade, just wanted something to get rid of his cap which they will be able to do. Philly wants a first. Robertson value is ~high second, plus the third and tverberg whos over a point per game as an ahl rookie. Definitely a feasible package</div></div>
as someone else mentioned Tverberg is not really even close to ppg, Flyers brass have also said they aren't looking for anymore undersized wingers so Robertson is probably off the table, I could see them wanting Cowen with his connection to Bonk and Barkey

Flyers No Huge Shake Ups and Someone Comes Home
There is no way Canucks trade Hoglander for Laughton, their C depth is fine so Laughton is not worth that much to them
Flyers will 100% be selling Walker, Probably Laughton, and possibly Atkinson and Risto, Reports say they are staying firm on a 1st for Walker, and Laughton only gets traded if they get a 1st or more, which (imo) is likely to happen with 2 Centers off the market already

Cole Eiserman slips at 6 and looking into 25-26
"Eiserman slips to 6" - you haven't been paying attention to rankings recently have you? At this point I'd say most teams have the top 5 (in no real order) being Celebrini, Lindstrom, Demidov, Levshunov, Silayev/Dickinson and after that, depending on the team, Eiserman could go after Buium, Parekh, Helenius, Catton
Personally, if the Habs draft at 6 and Catton is available they should take him over Eiserman, Eiserman has a pretty similar game to Caufield
anyways this comment was just to say Eiserman "slipping to 6" is almost guaranteed to happen, so I don't really think it's a slip anymore

big moves
if one more trade for a goalie says "hart will be gone for awhile" Ima lose it
just like check stats and number of starts before thinking Hart was our main guy this year
Flyers have tons of goalies in the system and Petersen/Sandstrom for backup(and passed up a cheap goalie on for free on waivers in Prosvetov) + Flyers have tried Jones before he wasn't great here

Tanev and Hanifin
I know Lebrun just said Tanev costs a 2nd and an asset, but I really think you could probably get something else other than Friedman, not really sure he's an "asset", I'd assume Lebrun meant a 2nd and a B(ish) tier prospect, so for the Canucks that's maybe The other Elias Pettersson, Sawyer Mynio or Aiden Celebrini

What would he cost
100% Flyers would be asking for picks back, I think it was reported they are looking for a 1st, personally I think the price will probably end up being a 2nd and a B-tier prospect

After 23-24 TDL
I'm pretty sure the flyers have been operating with the expectation Hart is done with the org for about a year now, Signing both Ersson and Kolosov, drafting Bjarnason and Zavragin with our 2nd round and 3rd round picks back-to-back. I'm 90% sure they are done with Hart
It's also been reported the Flyers are not budging on their asking price of a 1st for Walker

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BleedOrange23</b></div><div>I don't disagree, but Torts loves Cam and his contract is an issue.</div></div>
eh two years is easily retainable 25% is about 1.46 and 50% is about 2.9, I don't think torts adores him THAT much anymore and I think a ton of teams would be after his veteran presence and potential depth scoring
really just depends on Torts and at this point I'd it's probably more likely he's fine with the trade

If the flyers trade a forward it will likely be Atkinson, Insiders have said they are trying to get him going to boost his value at the TDL which is why he has so much ice-time lately

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>lowblocksniper</b></div><div>Fair enough, can't argue against it really
If I was Briere, I would want to reward the team/give them a vote of confidence for their play this year and get a solid goalie but, it could definitely be a cheaper decent vet, maybe take a shot at Drieger</div></div>
in fairness it's not a bad idea. I could totally see Briere wanting a 1A-1B situation with how young Ersson is, I just think a) it would probably have to be a really good deal for the flyers, b) not involve any of our firsts, and c) probably be someone with more experience and a better track record than Knight
