Seems weird to get 3 yrs of the guy for a 1+2+2, then a year later expect to get a very similar 1+2+2 again. But tbh I'd say yes for Blues with a few caveats. Top5 protection, '24 2nd pushed a few yrs out and they could throw Scandella in there to make the cap work. He has a 7-team NTC (would it be all Canada?) and is on an expiring deal.

7 is pretty specific. I would imagine it has to be just the 7 canadian teams. Might be able make a separate trade to dump scandella or someone like kapanen to make cap work.

OTT will never trade chych within division so the first and last trades are would never happen, all the others are crap for OTT and they decline

Leddy or Krug would have to be on their way out for the cap to work, also if you switch STL pick to a 2025 first round instead of a 2024 first round, I think you got a deal, as long as you take either leddy or Krug.

I really hope Detroit isn't in on Chychrun again. Even though he has term, we really shouldn't be trading anymore good assets for players, just let ours develop.

if a GM flat out declined a good trade offer because it was from a rival team and they took a lesser offer theyd be fired instantly. that dosent happen in the nhl
