Not that I think Chabot and Korpisalo presently have a lot of value, but it would be a little premature to send them away for just Ferraro and Blackwood imo

I would hate if the Canucks did a trade like that personally, but it's the only one where I could see a chance that completes.

Not sure Canucks are ready to give up on Kuzmenko. He's missing a center that can feed him. But I do think the Canucks will make a play for Chmelevski.

Korpisalo hasn't been that bad at all, it's just impossible to put good numbers for a goalie in Ottawa. Blackwood numbers would be god awful

There's been games that Korpisalo was literally standing on his head but still gave up 4-5 goals against.

I have no idea how they would be worse in ottowa, they literally play on one of the worst teams in cap era history

NYR doesn’t do this. He’s been built to be a buyout. Waiving him till playoffs if they need a bit of space. He’s solid for the playoffs and will be needed in a deep run. Imagine using a 1st to make cap space and then having to move 2 more to bring in players for1 run at the cup 🥶

Sens have a LOT more individual talent and more than many NHL teams but their "team game" is probably one of the worst in history. That's what you get with years of bad management/coaching
