Andersson just isn't going anywhere, although it would be interesting to see him and Laine on the same team...practice would be fun.

Beyond the Andersson trade which isn't near enough. Why would the Leafs do any of these. Jarnkrok and Timmins are better than Lybushkin who is just another #6 defenceman. Laine would be about the worst fit possible. A one dimensional scoring winger who doesn't score as much as you want him to. No thanks

i’d rather get hanafin + tanev > anderson. hanafins price is a first + prospect (from elliot friedman) so something like

Hanafin + tanev (both 50% retained) = 1st, cowan, 3rd, 3rd + maybe a crappier prospect like abruzese or steeves

That 2nd line would be a d-zone disaster, Laine is lazier than Willie. You would have them both floating around center as the leafs are being dominated in the d-zone.

Make it Tanev instead of Andersson and the Flames think about it... The 1st is a start but Robertson and the prospects are pretty underwhelming but if there's no retention on Tanev Calgary might accept it.
