As great as it would be to get Schneider, I think the Hawks decline. Who knows if Chytil ever plays again. 4 concussions already. Berard is an undersized forward the Hawks probably have little interest in. And the only value Goodrow has to the Hawks is what he'd return in a trade if they retained half his salary. At the very least, the Rangers swap out Berard for a F prospect the Hawks actually want before they'd consider this.
