With how the Jets are currently playing, I can't see them considering dumb trades.

Jets don't need Savard. But I do like Monahan for the playoffs. So I'd give Habs back their second for Monahan as rental.

We don't have any reason to trade him for less. He isn't blocking younger players, his cap hit isn't problematic, he isn't overpaid, he isn't having a bad year, he is healthy and one of the top available centers on the market. If you want him, you are gonna have to pay for him

Again, keep him. He isn’t worth nearly what some Habs fans think he’s worth. Chevy has proven time and time again that he won’t be taken advantage of. I have no doubt he will pull some ****ing rabbit out of his hat on a deal that no one saw coming.

No back in 2013 he would have cost much more, a 1st + 3rd is a really fair price for a player on pace for 50 points whose caphit is less than 2 mil. Hughes has already proven that he will get top dollar for his top assets. Lehkonen, Chiarot and Toffoli all returned a minimum of a 1st + 3rd and Monahan is better than the three of them
