1.
TOR
  1. Tanev, Christopher
Détails additionnels:
Toronto gets a heavy and competitive rhd home town boy. Good chance of him resigning in the offseason
CGY
  1. Abruzzese, Nick
  2. Brodie, TJ
  3. McMann, Bobby
Détails additionnels:
Brodie and Tanev is fair value straight up. Flames get Abruzzese who has a connection with the franchise and sounds like the Flames have been keeping tabs on Nick too. Throw in a Alberta boy McMann that plays there type of game and is too good for the A but a victims of numbers on the forward side of the Leafs
2.
TOR
  1. Choix de 2e ronde en 2026 (CAR)
CAR
  1. Samsonov, Ilya
Détails additionnels:
This trade is not about Carolina, it can be with anyone that needs a goalie between now and the deadline and would give up a 2-3rd a few years from now.
3.
TOR
  1. Parayko, Colton
  2. Sundqvist, Oskar
Détails additionnels:
These two players play the style of hockey the Leafs need to play in the playoffs. They are taking on a lot of salary but two players that are more aligned with Torontos currently needs and their needs for the next couple years. Having a #1 pairing RHD is huge let alone 6’7” 230.
STL
  1. Liljegren, Timothy
  2. Robertson, Nicholas
Détails additionnels:
The blues get younger and cheaper as these two players have lots of potential and in their early twenties haven’t topped out yet.
4.
TOR
  1. Leonard, Ryan [Liste de réserve]
  2. Wilson, Tom
  3. Choix de 1e ronde en 2026 (WSH)
Détails additionnels:
Toronto makes a massive change to their philosophy and Tre goes hard. Wilson is going to probably age pretty badly on his new contract. But for the next couple years he brings everything the leafs need, a big power forward that stands up for teammates and is feared every time he touches the ice. Also the salary reallocated to a few impactful players then just the one is another massive shift in the Leafs philosophy. Lenord hopefully turns into our power forward of the future to continue the mindset of going from finesse to grit.
WSH
  1. Marner, Mitchell
Détails additionnels:
This is huge. A top 5 winger or very close that can get Ovi the record and stick around for another 5 or so years at an elite level. He helps Wash quickly retool on the fly instead of going full rebuild. Of course Mitch has a NTC and probably would waive it. But if I were GM I would make him understand it’s best for everyone if he moves on.
5.
TOR
  1. Oleksiak, Jamie
Détails additionnels:
Toronto gets another 6’7” tower to anchor LD for the next new years at a reasonable number. By adding Jamie the leafs D becomes a cup caliber similar to Vegas’s look last year.
SEA
  1. Järnkrok, Calle
  2. Timmins, Conor
Détails additionnels:
Seattle gets younger, cheaper and more offensive on the blue line while adding a 20+ familiar winger that is signed on a great deal the next 3+ years.
6.
TOR
  1. Jenner, Boone
Détails additionnels:
Leafs get the guy they should have gotten instead of Foligno a few years ago. Adds veteran leadership and scoring depth with still lots left in the tank.
CBJ
  1. Holmberg, Pontus
  2. Choix de 1e ronde en 2024 (TOR)
Détails additionnels:
Leafs call BJ’s and say “hey you fucked is on that foligno deal as he was injured before he even landed. Here’s another first for the rebuild and a B level prospect that can be playing on at least a few nhl teams. BJ’s being one of them. I’m sure that at this point after what happed with Babs, Jenner would be open to getting a new lease on life.
7.
TOR
  1. Laughton, Scott
Détails additionnels:
Philly does not need to make this trade so the leafs need to add a sweater Laughton and Kampf have similar value. Kampf is 600k cheaper, signed 1 additional year and if 2 years younger. Tverberg is a feisty American RW, arguably the Leafs best RW prospect aka the sweatner.

Flames have no interest in Brodie at all. We'll take your 1st and a 3rd instead

There are good reasons Calgary let Toronto get Brodie for nothing in the first place. We don't want him back.

Don't think you understand free agency. As a UFA, Brodie had the choice to sign with 31 teams. Same with Tanev, Vanouver didn't let him go for nothing, Canucks didn't have a choice.
And the reason the Flames and Canucks did not trade their UFAs is they were in a playoff run. Teams in the playoff not don't usually sell their upcoming UFAs, they acquire them for a stronger playoff push.

You don't seem to know anything about what actually happened. Fact is the Flames wanted to move on from Brodie before he became UFA. Toronto tried to trade Kadri for Brodie the Flames accepted but Kadri didn't want to leave Toronto and wouldn't waive his NTC. Later Kadri got traded to Colorado who weren't on his NTL. The Flames didn't even bother offering Brodie a new contract, they just let him go.

We could have resigned Brodie then but we didn't want him anymore and we don't want him back now.

All these Tanev, Hanifan, Lindholm trades seems like the Flames don't them back either. Flames are a below average team, below average in GAA, yeah I would try to trade those upcoming UFAs too.
