Intriguing offer seeing as how Mesar could develop into Kyrou if he hits his peak. Personally I don't do this, but I think you've aptly described the level of risk both teams would need to take to get a deal like this one done.

So most of your value comes from those 2 1rst but then you still have to pay up to dump Anderson... Which is going to cost a lot to dump...

MTL wouldn't even offer Reinbacher or the 2024 pick in a Kyrou deal, let alone both and another very good offensive prospect

I think if Kyrou was moved, I am guessing they would be asking for players off the roster. Maybe Dach, a young dman (and whatever pieces needed for salary cap).

Yeah it’s an overpayment but he could very well be the missing piece in our future.

He could be a great add I agree but not at that much of an overpayment.

Apart of Mesar and the 2024 first, there aren’t any top tier quality. Kyrou will be better than the guy we pick with the first and Mesar will be replace by Heineman.
