Some of the teams I'm trading with are just placeholders. Most looking at the logic from Toronto's side.

TOR
  1. Cristall, Andrew
Détails additionnels:
2nd round pick for the Capitals. Solid prospect.
WSH
  1. Domi, Max
Détails additionnels:
Domi is on pace for 41 assists. He has a top 5 assist per 60 in the league and is analytically a top 3 playmaker in the league.

For Toronto tho he's just a cheap and worse Marner. He can't play D, he isn't physical, he doesn't shoot.

He's very one dimensional.

For Washington he has the one dimension they are missing and he has it at an elite level. Throw him with Ovi and they could be a serious contender.

Why would Caps want Domi ? Especially for an A level prospect? Just keep him and hope a team that needs a center comes knocking

Kuzmenko to the Leafs?
Ugh no thanks.
Besides the Leafs have players that are better than Kuzmenko.
Why the Leafs do that?

Canucks def pass - sophomore slump and he still has a chance to get tocc's trust again. almost 40 goal scorer should be worth more imo

Nope, not at all. Soft and can't forecheck, those guys don't get more than a 3rd round pick

Leafs don't even consider in the first place

Cristall is the most overhyped prospect just because his buddy is Bedard. He is not an A level prospect. His skating is average at best and in a league where skating is the most important skill, that is certainly NOT an A level prospect.

Not saying that has any affect on this trade. I don’t think it works for either team.

Yes one of the best players in arguably the best junior league is “overhyped”. He worked on his skating and will continue to work on it. If it wasn’t for his skating he would have been an early 1st round pick. You are ***** delusional if you think he’s less than an A level prospect. Either way Capitals arent giving him up for Domi lol. It would have to be for a massively better option.

Lol. Bias Caps fan..

He’s not an A level prospect. Just because he has a lot of points in junior means absolutely nothing. He’s in his OA year in junior. He SHOULD dominate the league and if he didn’t then I’d be more worried. But the skating will always hold him back. Won’t be anything more than a 2nd line forward at best, likely a scoring 3rd line guy. If you think that’s a A level prospect then you’re “****ing delusional”.

Nic Petan dominated in is OA years (who was a much better skater at the same age). His linemate Ty Rattie dominated in his OA year. Hell even Justin Brazeau dominated in his OA years and even scored 60 goals once - they’re all AHL scorers at best. And Rattie and Brazeau had similar skating issues to Cristall, but I bet you never thought of them as A level prospects.

Chill on the hype. Being Bedard’s buddy doesn’t gift you anything.

Difference is … Cristall is elite in EVERY SINGLE category besides skating. Hes been working with PROFESSIONAL skill coaches to improve his skating. I’m not “bias” I’m just being real. Hes top 2 in ppg in theWHL. Not giving that up for an average bottom 6 rental. Do you think Leonard isn’t an A level prospect bc he’s Will Smith buddy also? Lol.

Clearly you can’t read anything I said. But sure, go ahead and believe that points are the determining factor for prospects. Have fun with that.

Cristall has a scoring touch, he is not elite in “every other category besides skating”. Lmao…

Yes!! Scoring matters bc if he had 5 points in 39 games we wouldn’t be having this talk. lol use your brain. “Can’t read” I can but no im just not going to dismiss or diminish his ability to score bc you think it doesn’t matter. That’s idiotic.

He is showing how elite he is in the WHL. He’s arguably the biggest steal on the 2023 draft. So yeah a kid that is showing an elite scoring touch and is top 2 in ppg in the WHL is considered an A level prospect.

Goodnight hater. 😘

Cristall’s so elite he wasn’t even invited to the u20 camp for Canada which is for the best prospects in junior hockey 🤔

Nice try kid.

Yes him and Heidt both didn’t get invited and it’s raising a ton of question marks. Especially when Yager Firkus and Geekie are having worse /similar years But you must have never played hockey at a high level if you don’t understand that there is politics in hockey.

You must have never played hockey if you think that just points is such a factor is a players skill.

Matt Savoie had a rift with Hockey Canada over his exceptional status/NCAA choice. Even he made the team invite. Cristall didn’t because Hockey Canada values good skaters for their team, something that Cristall isn’t. But hey if Cristall is such an elite scorer, shouldn’t he have been on their top line by your logic?

He’s not an A level prospect bud. A level prospect is guaranteed to make the NHL and guaranteed to be a top 6 in the league - both of which aren’t guarantees for Cristall. He’s a B prospect at best, likely closer to a B-. There’s been guys that have scored at his rate in junior and not made much of a career in the NHL. So if your only argument is because he’s 3rd in the WHL in PPG well then it’s you that doesn’t know hockey. There’s so much more to hockey than just points.

Not gonna keep going back and forth with you bud. You’re clearly bias cause he’s a prospect of your favourite team, maybe the beer goggles are blinding you. Agree to disagree cause I’m not wasting my time on this anymore.

Disagree. I followed the 2023 draft closely for almost a year beforehand. Cristall isn't overhyped in the slightest. Yeah, sure, he may not be an A-level prospect, but he's worth more than Domi.
