Good lord...the Devils don't want Josh Anderson. I wouldn't take him for free. I wouldn't take him you kicking in a 2nd for free. Cap hit isn't worth it.

Dude Mantha is a negative asset. Your bias is non stop and annoying. If you dont like the ACGM then ignore it because most ppl im sure will put you on ignore with your constant complaining.
The OP can post whatever ACGM he wants, that isnt trolling. Your toxity in every Caps thread, certainly, would apply to trolling.

Mantha is a black hole, you need to pay to move.

If you think a contending team wont take a power forward that scores 20 goals consistently and is built for the playoffs, along with a rising salary cap then I dont know what to tell you when Tanner Jeannot got traded for 5 draft picks and Cal Foote.

What?!? Klingberg is awful at 5on5. He plays with elite players yet stuggles outside the PowerPlay and Savard is a completely different player. There is no comparison. These opinions are so awful. Where do you people come from? This place can really be an open sewer.

Actually read what he said. In no way does he ever state Mantha is not a cap dump, the issue is with term returning to Washington. Dvorak is also not worth his contract, and it's perfectly valid to not be a fan of taking on an extra year of negative money in exchange for saving only 1.25 mil in a year in which the Capitals don't look to be competitive in. And if you think this comment is constant complaining then I'd like to introduce you to a vast amount of commenters on the website with far more egregious remarks than the one you quoted.

I think people on this website are going to be mad when they realize that Anderson has value amongst NHL gm's, I mean he was just offered a 1st this offseason and has been playing better this year compared to last year.

anderson is a glorified 3rd liner making double what he should be making, jeannot was making like 800k and it was an awful trade

Yea, all those 20 goal scorers making $5.5m a year for term in an age where everyone is against the cap are really making huge moves like getting a 1st or top prospect. Tanner Jeannot makes literally half of what Anderson does. Please provide all those examples of teams paying to take on a 20g scorer making all that money. Cheers.

P.S. "Built for the playoffs", guy has one one playoff run with more than a goal. LMAO.

The devils are not taking on josh anderson to play marginally better 3rd line minutes than holtz while having no upside and being 4 mill more expensive. Hope this helps. They are commited to holtz. If they wanted a veteran they'd have kept tatar or brought in literally anyone else

His playmaking has improved tremendously and is being used in all situations but that goes against the narrative here that his player card isnt as fancy as Mark Friedman 95% WAR whom was just put on waivers

Just ignore all context that he has had only a few playoff runs. And, Anderson impact is felt over a 7 game series when guys like Jake Muzzin no longer want to touch the puck with Anderson running him back there but sure nitpick away with false equivalencies. Ill be here IF/when he gets traded and you'll be wrong 100%.

Nope he's going to a contender. And despite you armchair GMs feelings, you cant control where he goes as none of you actually have any say in the matter so whine, complain and moan all you want, not one rational person here cares but maybe some of the teenagers here will give you some likes, you certainly could use a few there. The Jersey faithful here dont seem picky.

Every pundit has stated Jersey's interest which included a 1st round pick. This offer wont get you Anderson especially with retention.

Still believing that fake stuff eh?

Josh anderson would play on the devils 4th line. At most he'd be a small upgrade over Holtz for now, but holtz is 5 mill cheaper and improving fast.
