Jarnkrok didn't work in Calgary, I don't think they want him back. Value Wise? I think your a bit off seeing what guys like Savard, Gavrikov, and Chairot recieved on top of Calgary being a bit hesitant to move Tanev to a former GM.

You can't trade Liljegren he's needed down the road

I don't understand why some people are so eager to trade Liljegren, especially trades like this when it's clearly not worth it. The Leafs don't need a first. However, on a team with maybe one too many offensively-minded defensemen who can't play D, they need D who can also play defense, too. Liljegren does both a bit above average and has shown he can do it at a high level.

Brodie, Gio, McCabe are all excellent defensively minded D, but don't contribute a ton offensively. Rielly and Klingberg are solid offensively minded D, but don't contribute anything defensively. Liljegren can do both. And in the future, he'll probably do both very well

Idk if i’m in the minority but I think the Canucks aren’t a lottery team, they’ll be fighting for a WC spot in the West, they have talent & assets to get the necessary upgrades

Canucks decline. Value is fair, they just aren’t in the position to be trading an unprotected 1st, especially after how they’ve looked in the preseason as that pick could very easily be top 5 just as easily as it could be 20th+.
