Habs probably decline, they're not going to be looking to help Sens sign Pinto. Also, thinking he's only worth 1.75M is kinda funny

- That Pinto AAV would only be for 2023-24. He will want more after that (IF he accepts it for 2023-24)

- Lassi Thomson will unfortunately be lost on waivers, unless they find a trade

- I can't see Beauvillier deserving that much unless he has a great bounce back season. Sens will only be able to afford 1 forward, so it could be Bertuzzi but it would also cost a bit more than that

- I also hope these trades don't happen. I would like the Hamonic one but he has a NMC and don't think it's in the plans to move him

OP: Joseph is basically an overpaid Pezzetta, physical but not really a fighter which I don't think fits the team considering (a) the contracts backloaded money wise (b) it's not like he was a project or coming out of a drop off in production as he's never been producing in his career. Don't think anyone will bite on him, just trade away Bran and sail away.



Someone will, GMs aren't as salty as their fanbases. They don't care if they help or not the other team as long as they help theirs.

Gm are also smarter than fanbase. They know if they help Ottawa, Pinto will be signed. They know Ottawa has to make space for Pinto. So if they wait, they will get a much bigger sweetener to take on those contracts. Not helping Ottawa helps their team
