Not the worst package i've seen but depending on how Petey does next year they could get a bit more, and i'd imagine the Canucks might want a Dman. Though overall not an awful package. But if i was the Sens i wouldn't shop for Petey they already have a number 1C, Tim Stutzle looks legit and could be a 100 point player so putting him on the 2nd Center spot might hurt his production, and obviously you wouldn't trade for Pettersson then put him as your 2C.

I would think Petty would start with Norris and then add. Would be the only way for it to make sense for both teams

I know since there is a fellow poster out there keeping tab that I am in the minority but I would decline if I’m Chicago. Three years of absorbing an almost $3m cap hit is worth more then one 2nd round pick in my opinion… a 1st or 2 x 2nds or a 2nd/3rd and a good prospect like Greig would be my ask.

start with Norris? start with Stutzle!
it's not NHL23 GM mode. if it's not a hockey trade (1 for 1) then it doesn't make sense.

VAN is not rebuilding so the picks are not that desirable. they will need an impact player and if they are trading EP40 (their #1C) they should be getting a #1C back

Canucks don't need wingers and are in compete/win now mode so they aren't trading EP40 for a couple firsts. At the very least any package for EP40 starts with Greig and goes from there. You're not getting a top 10 center in the league without it hurting.

Pinto is better than Greig Lmao. Greig will most likely be a winger and Pinto is a 2 way centre

At a minimum on the Hawk trade, I think the Hawks would incist on a F going back (they already have to many bottom of the lineup guys and Joseph just adds more)....probably Blackwell.

Still no matter what you offer unless it's someone on your roster that makes over 8 million the Sens don't have enough to offer a legit package for EP40.

Maybe slow the "2 way center" talk on a guy who was a -21 in his first full year in the NHL. For the record I do know Pinto is better then Greig as most NHLers are better then prospects, thank tips.

2 Elite centers in the PIT mold but Sens makeup of the team don't really allow this. The depth is great at is it.

Has someone ever told you that this was delusional?

Joseph isn't anywhere near a FULL CAP DUMP. He might be worth his cap hit easily as soon as this season, or even more, like in 2021-22

lol is that all you got?

Well, at least the "nobody" understands how it works a little bit more than "Three years of absorbing an almost $3m cap hit"

Even a replacement level player makes more than 0$ doh
