Obviously lol. LA doesn't need a goalie
They do not. They have three goalies that finished with a league average SV% or better in the NHL last season and don't have the cap space for Ullmark, even at 50% retention. They're going to give their guys every opportunity to succeed before trading for a 4th. Any move for a goaltender will happen at the trade deadline, and it will be for an inexpensive guy like Kevin Lankinen, not Ullmark.
Trading away Matt Roy opens a bigger gap in the lineup than they currently have at goaltender, as they don't have another defensive RHD in the system to replace him. They're not going to run with two rookies on the right side with absolutely no redundancies.
The Kings have traded away two consecutive 1st round picks already. Trading away a 3rd would be a mistake. Last I checked, Jim Rutherford wasn't the GM of the Kings.
The Kings are not prepared to sell low on Alex Turcotte. He's not a bust prospect, he's just been injured for essentially his entire pro career thus far. He's waiver exempt for one more season, and the Kings intend to give him every minute possible to see if he can turn into the player that they hoped he would be when they drafted him. If he can stay healthy, there's no reason to suspect that he can't.
Finally, Ullmark has been an average goaltender his entire career until last season where he played behind arguably the best team in NHL history. Knowing the rollercoaster consistency of goaltenders from year-to-year, I'm not confident that last season wasn't an aberration and no one should give up a haul like this for him.
