Canucks may consider retaining on Boeser, but they definitely won’t be taking Rust’s contract. If they move Boeser it’s to clear cap and clear our winger logjam. This doesn’t help with either

1. Columbus is massively improved and makes the playoffs
2. Karlsson repeats as the Norris winner
3. The Pens miss the playoffs and win the draft lottery
4. The Jackets trade Boone Jenner

It's a delusional pastime by Pens fans on here to move Carter in general. I don't think it's a troll. I think they look for any past ties to previous teams to justify the trade.

Pens fans need to give up the dream. Carter isn't going anywhere.
