Flyers accept but why would Buffalo even offer?

It's just thoughts. Maybe BUF just have some extra players instead but I think BUF should trade Bryson out of the whole D core

No matter your thoughts on Gibson, two AHL goalies, one of whom is criminally overpaid, and a future 2nd doesn't get it done.

Mete- why?
Gibson, unlikely, too risky for what the Ducks want for him
DeSmith- zero chance

Bryson most likely sent to Rochester if he clears waivers

Gibson has an absolutely fugging ****e contract - no thanks. Quite the lateral move to move out comrie and then bring in desmith who is essentially the exact same just to have 3 goalies anyway.

If Buffalo wants a goalie fir Fc, it is more likely it will be Allen. Let’s say you have the choice between trading Allen for a sixth or Desmith for a fourth. We trade Allen and clear cap every day

I think they gave extra because they had to hit the floor. That extra 800k in Salary alone probably assures he clears waivers

I don’t think Bryson is nearly as bad as most Sabres fans seem to think he is- i don’t mind him as a 7/8 guy
But I’m also ok losing him
He’s decent with a little upside, but replaceable

Not asking for the world but he is worth at least a 6th or 7th rd pick

Do we? I mean Bryson is fine but adding a 5'9" left handed defenseman to an already small, predominantly left-handed defense core (with potential to get even smaller if Andrae makes the team) doesn't make a ton of sense to me.

Really a nothing trade both ways to me but maybe I'm missing something
