Minnesota Wild signed Mats Zuccarello (2 Years / $4,125,000 AAV)
Good on MIN for this extension. Zuc and Kap are an amazing duo. Zuc is deserving of this extension even though he is 35 and this takes him till he's 38 but I still see him making an impact in the NHL at that age. Best Norwegian NHL player born

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Rob32sjsharks</b></div><div>Why does either team do it though? That’s what I can’t understand</div></div>
No clue but the reason VAN said No is because they'd rather trade him at TDL as a rental thinking they'll get more

Some players don't look good as others in the first round in that case possible busts. Besides Lambert dropped all the way to the last pick in the 1st round

Jets with Lucius, Lambert, Perfetti, Chisholm, and Barlow are gonna be insane in the next few years. Plus the other players they will draft in that time

Calgary Flames signed Parker Bell (3 Years / $857,500 AAV)
Finally! I'm glad we got him signed. Had a great season last year in the WHL. Now last person I think we should sign out of the prospect pool is the goalie Sergeev

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Burnout</b></div><div>That seems like a lot for Vladar, there are cheaper options (both cap-wise and asset-wise).</div></div>
I should've just done a 3rd and 7th but you also gotta consider that COL is an insane team and is a contender so they will be late picks

I mean there is other options like signing Halak or go for other backups but since it's a rumor I just went with it

My New Lines For CBJ
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>tkecanuck341</b></div><div>Why is LA trading away the only goaltender in their system signed to a contract beyond this season?</div></div>
Well i said it could be anybody but thought maybe CBJ would want a promising goalie prospect. I could have chosen another team but thought maybe LA would want a young D man

He may be worth close to that however, it would have been more likely earlier in the off-season.</div></div>
Like I said in the trade that it can be any team doing that trade but it just so happens the first team I clicked on was CHI

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>wojme</b></div><div>Helle wants a longer term high AAV contract which isn't worth it for the Sabres</div></div>
True especially when Levi could steal the starter role from him.

How about UPL, Krebs, Prospect, and a 2nd with late round pick like 6th or 7th?

Pinto To CGY Thoughts
Pinto would then sign a bridge deal of 2.5m for 2 years or 2.7m for 3 years. CGY would move out Vladar for room to sign Pinto in which would be COL since they need a backup. OTT gets two god picks and Ruzicka who IMO is still a promising young player even though Sutter scratched him so much after having a solid start to the regular season last year.

Vladar to Colorado
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>MoxNix</b></div><div>Nobody special but he's a right shot center. A little on the small side but not tiny and close to NHL ready with 2 years left on his contract. He'd probably play for the Wranglers freeing up 2 million in cap space for the Flames (to call up Wolf and someone else) but he could get called up at some point too.</div></div>
I like it but I'd rather get a pick and draft a player than him. We have lots of player in the AHL and NHL now that it'll be hard for players to get play time so some would have to go further down into the ECHL with Rapid City.
