I'm sorry the value is a pretty off and Quinn is a bit of an untouchable tbh I agree that having all three Hughes would be a sick squad but Quinn is really an untouchable. And they don't really want NJD's 1st beacuse it'll probably be a very late pick you guys are almost definetly going to the 2nd round.

Really doesn't make sense for either team to be honest, NJ already has a solid defense and taking Meier out creates a big hole in their top 6, for Vancouver well they can't afford to lose their best dman from an already weak defense and they have a lot of wingers.

Love Quinn…but not a need for us in any way. There is really no Quinn-to-NJ scenario that I have seen that helps both teams. While it would be fun to see all three Hughes brothers together, we will have to wait until it is done wearing USA jersey.

Devils also say no. This isn't a Devil fan doing it. It is a CGY that is completely lost on the issue. The Devils shouldn't be focused on getting a 3rd brother, they have the right form of a team they need.

The fact of the matter is that there's no trade that's remotely close to enough value that makes sense for the Devils. It can be an overpay for NJ and an underpay for VAN at the same time, which is what most of these offers are.
