No. You can make an offer for Krug or Leddy if you'd like. We're not trading RDs and we're certainly not taking Petry for one.

If I'm paying that much for Krug, I'd want prime Torey Krug. I'm not expecting his prime at all.

Honestly, I'm not all that enthused about Krug in general. Via evolving-hockey (and hoping the link works the way I want), Krug and Petry had similar shots, fenwick, and corsi for and against, but Petry's xG and actual goals for and against were both quite a bit better. Part of that could very well be because the Penguins had a better defense as a whole (14th most goals against vs 6th most against), but certainly not all of it.
Additionally, Krug has two more years of term, and has a full NTC for the next two years as opposed to a 15 team NTC.

This site doesn't want to hear about your objective data. Petry must be a liability because Pittsburgh is trying to trade him. Faulk actually has been very productive at 5v5. But defensively he's weaker. St Louis would be making out very well in this deal. The value difference between the two players is not that dramatic.

No worries, it happens to everybody sooner or later. But I would not put too much stock into those cards anyway. His model doesn't understand the Blues (and he never watches them), this has been going on for years.

I mostly just use those as a baseline, hence why I initially used data from evolving-hockey. Dom's been replacing that model during the playoffs/offseason but his new one doesn't have readily available cards yet.
