Can't see the Hawks moving either of those assets much less both for Laf with where they are at in their rebuilded. I would be shocked if both weremoved as that would be a complete 180 from what Davidson has done up to this point.

Laf is a bust, Reichel alone is already a more valuable asset. I can’t find any real sources that are saying anything about them getting traded for each other, and it would be the complete opposite of what Davidson’s been doing so far for the rebuild.

That dude says a lot of stuff in his "reports" that rarely ever come to pass. Pretty much a click bait site and nothing generates clicks like a couple orginal 6 teams in a "rumor". Sorry but I am also missing where Davidson is offering those 2 pieces. Only reference to those pieces is straight up speculating and I quote "Rangers are probably asking for prospect Lukas Reichel and Chicago’s 2024 first round pick from the Tampa Bay Lightning". Reichel is a top 20-30 prospect in the league on a nice path of development that was a point a game last 2 AHL seasons and put up 15 poins in 23 games of cup of coffee last season with 2 years of his ELC left. I could see MAYBE the Tampa 1st, but highly doubt Kyle from Chicago is actually offering both or the Rangers would have already taken that and run.

Why would you possibly think Bob Ellis is a remotely verifiable source?

NHL Trade Rumors is an awful source that loves to stir the pot with nonsense. I like Laf, but that would be way too much. I wouldn't even give up Reichel for him 1 for 1, let alone including a 1st on top of it. I would probably consider giving up the Tampa 2024 1st, alone, for him, though. Maybe adding a sweetener, too.

Edit: I might consider adding, at most, Raddysh to the TBL 1st.

This is the type of offer Drury should try getting for him. Lafreniere and Bedard could be fun.
