They were afraid of arbitration, but I think they insulted him when they didn't qualify him. High-quality human being, and I think there is still some room for growth on-ice. He lined up everywhere including center, played special teams when needed. Good glue guy. Best of luck to him. Wish they had kept him.

I thought he should've signed Zadina for 1 season instead of 3 and traded him at the TDL if he wasn't performing.
