Don’t see this happening realistically without the 2023 1st or one of Jiricek/Mateychuk.

Barzal is a puzzling player to me, somehow both underrated (plays for a boring team) and overrated (everyone acts like he’s a top-15 talent in the league. He never makes highlight reels, never leads any categories (yes, some of that is the Islanders system, but doesn’t even lead in rate stats), doesn’t elevate his linemates and indeed often plays wing to Nelson. Is it because he’s pretty and fast? 3OA for him would be a ridiculous overpayment.

That's just the going rate for literally any player the Jackets want to acquire it seems. 3 OA, Jiricek, Johnson or some ridiculous combination of the 3.

Bruins probably cannot fit Roslovic in without retention, even if the trade value is as good as that

He's in his prime, fast, locked, and has good playmaking ability. I think a lot of people (executives and fans) will give him the benefit of the doubt on his production. I think he does land in the reels still, he's just not very noticeable.

He's also considered the Islanders best player, so they aren't going to part away with him unless it's a slam dunk. I could see Lou, for better or worse, reject the 3OV had it been offered.
