I think what you did here is the belief that some of the commenters think you can divide one player in 5 different pieces. So, when they comment acting as though they will just sign XYZ player when they become a UFA they forget all of a sudden 30 other teams will be interested at various levels and with the cap expected to increase by $5-10 million in 2024 their club won't be the only ones bidding on these players.
