Nylander has 1 year left and will most likely demand 8-10 million a year if he has another big year. Mark Scheifele is a center and if the Leafs are going to move Tavares out of that position and place him on the wing the Leafs need a legit number 2 center, Scheifele had more goals than Nylander and plays center, Scheifele also has 1 extra year compared to Nylander.

Brodie and Timothy are worth more than Dillon and a 5th round pick is more than enough for Parker Ford who is 5'9

Moving Dillon to CBJ for Boone adds a depth down the middle and adds more penalty kill options.

Adding Scheifele alone will not make the Leafs cup contenders but the other options will add more physicality and work ethic to the roster and a better chance at winning a cup.

CBJ is my 2nd favorite team in the NHL. Anyone who knows hockey knows the value of Jenner. I don't think CBJ would trade Jenner for anyone on the Laffs. Maybe Mathews or Knies with a top prospect and pick, but that would be it. Even then... not sure. Jenner is the engine inside the engine that is CBJ.
