I find it hard to believe that the Canes dream off-season involves trading Pesce

$12 million for Klingberg and Pacioretty seems like a lot

If Winnipeg trades Connor it’s to rebuild so they won’t be interested in Pesce. Probably starts with Morrow or Jarvis

LOL Pesce who's one year from UFA status, Plus Ryan Suzuki who's basically been crap in the AHL and a garbage 3rd for a potential 30-40 goal scorer in Kyle Connor. It's a pathetic offer and Detroit would offer up far more to bring Connor home.

That's what I'm thinking, too. Don't know if they'd make a run at Jarry this year but I would imagine he's off the table minus some ridiculous offer but I've just been kicking goalie ideas around in my head and am curious what they think of him.

I think the Pens just need to slowly start tearing it down. They had a great run, but like Chicago, its time to rebuild. Maybe sign a goalie like Adin Hill and run with him for 3-4 years. I think he is only 26 years old.

I would love to get Connor in a Canes jersey, but moving Pesce is a no go, and replacing him with Klingberg is an even bigger mistake. No team is going to give Patches that much money, and Ghost at 5mil is a stretch. He has been excellent defensively but he has lost a lot of offense since coming to the Canes. 3-3.5 would be good for Ghost.

Pacioretty is probably retiring, but if he does come back, he sure as hell isn’t getting 6 million dollars.

No, he is not. They just signed him to a 4 year extension and he will be the starter next year.
