Yeah idk man. Ideally I’d love if Ottawa can grab either the 8th or 9th overall with Washington or Detroit in a sign and trade. And then sign someone like Bertuzzi , get a 3rd liner and sign a goalie or trade for one. But we’ll see

What is he worth? Depends who you ask. My opinion, a medium to low 1st and B prospect. A Bruins fan would probably ask for a medium to high 1st and an A prospect

Swap the 2nd out for a 3rd or Mastrosimone (since he won't sign with Detroit) and I'm content.

Doubt if M NTC Ullmark has Ottawa on his 15 team trade list. There are UFA going available and even Swayman or Samsonov could offer sheeted.
Wings can wait a year and spend that cap on some UFA without giving up two valuable picks.

I think if he’s moved, it’s going to be a sign trade to either a metro team or Detroit for a top 20 pick this year and a couple of other pieces.

The age difference alone makes Pinto more valuable and add in his 20g in his first full season. No possible way is Ullmark worth Pinto and a 1st.

I wouldn't put any eggs in that basket. Unless you have him on the record saying I'm going to Detroit when I become a UFA, I wouldn't count on it.

I think with Detroit trading Hronek and Bertuzzi , they’ve pretty much made it clear the focus is now on adding picks and prospects and pushing the competitive window back a couple years. Which makes sense, because if they kept the same team , they were on their way to build a mid team. But now they have a chance to add elite talent
