Lots of cap being dumped on the three trading that they don't want or can't afford. Only way trades like these are made is if equal cap is being returned to the Blues, which kinda defeats the purpose of the trades.
That's really "funny". Avs give up assets for 5m Saad, just so you can sign Compher to 4.75m contract. Compher just stays an Avs
You want a ransom for 6.25m Krug, just so sign Gavrilov to a 4.8m deal. Wings and Gavrilov would be miles ahead if Wings signed him to 5.5m deal. See there is no logic to the proposed trades or signings

Krug trade is pretty No way in hell are you getting a top 15 pick in a very deep draft for Krug. He can't even stay healthy most of the time. Yzerman doesn't give up picks for a smallish LD who we don't need. If we wanted Krug we could've have signed him as a FA. But Yzerman is building a huge blueline in Detroit and Torey krug doesn't fit for what we're building. So pass big time.

You'd have to swap Krug for Parayko
