That's fair - I mean for pure nostalgia purpose I'd love to see it too - I think we all would. Varlamov is a solid choice - although i think it would depend on what you have to pay him. I don't think he's really any better than Desmith - but if the salaries were the same I'd be fine with Varlamov.

Definitely good for sure. I'm just looking at everything based on cap space since that's clearly an issue for this team. If Varlamov and Desmith are the same price - I have no issue taking Varlamov. At 3mil vs 1.8mil - I'm taking Desmith everytime

Again - I guess it depends on the money for me. Desmith is better than Korpisalo - and about equal to Hill. But if you can get one of those guys for cheaper then sure I'd take them.
