Description
Struble will join MTL until players return from Injuries.
Depending on his play he might be sent down to Laval Rocket for a Playoff Run.

Brought in Puljujarvi and Ruzsika as options for Slafkovsky's wing.
The hope is fellow Slovak will help him adjust and give him a peer that speaks his primary language to help him grow on and off the ice But if that doesnt work Puljujariv is there too.

1st line is 2/3 pieces we know works adding Puljujarvi hoping he can be rallied by the Captain/RHP
2nd line is all big boys who can score with different skill sets.
3rd line is all about about getting as much value as you can out of them , and these 3 have good chemistry.
4th line will alternate Wingers and like Belzile has this year, Condotta is able to play Center if needed.

Lucic will get priority as well need a Forward on ice protecting our assets with Pezzetta gone.
Johanson is just there as i dont like what ive seen from Ylonen and Condotta would confuse 9/10 people who dont know him from adam.

This build wont win you games easily , any they get in the win column will be hard fought.
That said they have the Talent and tons of underachievers with 26 more games to make a name for themselves(or rebuild theirs)

It would be interesting though if when Gally returned he joined Lucic's line.
Man would that be one aggrivating line to play against while trying to contain Belzile's speed
Like if David and Goliath joined force's and took on all comers ahahaha , and the amount of greasy goals would be fun to watch.

I get maybe 1-2 of these deals might get made in some variation of what i got.
I just made some moves that i'd like to see knowing if im lucky i might get 1-2 come true.
I think if Foote can work out in Laval they could make it past ECF game 6 this time and if he pans out he'll be a force as a Power Forward.
Dont think just because i stuck him in Laval i wrote him off , i just value a playoff run more for him this year is all.

MTL
  1. Myers, Philippe
  2. Raddysh, Darren
  3. Choix de 2e ronde en 2024 (TBL)
Détails additionnels:
Conditional 2nd becomes a 1st if TBL wins a cup in 2023 or 2024 with Edmundston playing 50% or more games. IF Converted MTL will recieve a top 10 protected 1st round pick in 2025.

If not Converted MTL recieves a late 2nd round pick in 2024.
TBL
  1. Edmundson, Joel (1 750 000 $ retained)
Détails additionnels:
300k more on the same term to swap Myers a buried contract for Edmundston on the same term.

Myers- Reports to Laval playing top RD
Raddysh -To the AHL for a few games until trades are all done then likely to the NHL for the rest of the year.
2.
MTL
  1. Puljujärvi, Jesse
  2. Choix de 5e ronde en 2025 (EDM)
Détails additionnels:
EDM gets a cheap winger with year term left who this year is on pace with Puljujarvi in his Sophmore Slump . Davanov his been playing well lately with 15 of his 17 points in the past 27 games and 4 points in the past 5 games.

Puljujarvi wherther its today or tomorrow will be lost on waivers and more important his Qualifying Offer is set to put him at double his actual worth on a cap strapped team
EDM
  1. Dadonov, Evgeni (2 500 000 $ retained)
  2. Pitlick, Rem
Détails additionnels:
MTL's upside is solely on being able to rebuild Puljujarvi and sell him when our youth is ready to take his spot.

They hope is he'll thrive beside Slafkovsky
3.
MTL
  1. Foote, Nolan
  2. Choix de 1e ronde en 2023 (NJD)
Détails additionnels:
MTL leaves Holtz be going after Clarke(who i'd prefer) or Foote who's most likely to be added.
NJD
  1. Anderson, Josh
Détails additionnels:
MTL gets what they need as Foote is a young Power Forward we can mold but Clarke is the same type of Spark Plug/Pest that Anderson is. If we're losing Size/Aggression we need atleast one of those qualities coming back.

1st round pick in this years draft where RD and Goalies are clustered , thats worth making this deal for Hrbal alone.
4.
MTL
  1. Johnsson, Andreas
Détails additionnels:
Capdump portion to NJD trade for Anderson.

Future Considerations earned.
Buried Contract moved.
NJD
This contract plus 2.9m TDL cash Capfriendly reports NJD to have , this makes Anderson's salary covered for the year and NJD has room after that.
    5.
    MTL
Not saying its Seattle , just needed to select a team to submit.

Someone will get injured have the cap and see this as an option im sure. Someone on the Fringe not looking to invest as even BUF and DET are in the mix for Wildcard spots during a rebuild or end of i should say.

BUF has 18m cap and loses nothing simply claiming Drouin a the risk of a nothing pick IF his name goes on the cup. DET is on a hot enough roll but just enough to not sell their UFA's and consider low cost options under their 6m cap as their UFA's are people they'll try to re-sign anyways for the forwards anyways.(Maybe giving them a taste of Playoffs before their deal might inspire them to take a haircut on the deal slightly)

All im saying is for free-ish , someone will take him.
      SEA
      1. Drouin, Jonathan
      Détails additionnels:
11 points in the last 10 games
He's playing like he wants to a playoff team to notice

MTL openly gives him up not RS as is for a conditional 3rd that states if his name goes on the Cup MTL gets a pick. IF it does not then MTL recieves nothing

        1. Lucic, Milan
        2. Ruzicka, Adam
        3. Choix de 2e ronde en 2023 (CGY)
        Détails additionnels:
Lucic spends the year in MTL then leaves
Ruzicka gives Slafkovsky some to help him transition on and off ice as he could benefit from someone already transitioned who speaks his language.

2nd round pick out of MTL's 4th the gave for RS isnt a bad upgrade when you factor in Ruzicka possible impact.
        CGY
        1. Pezzetta, Michael
        Détails additionnels:
Sean Monahan via ARZ at $1.593.750 cap hit while clearing Lucic thats nearky 4.4m cap to add another piece if they keep Pezzetta at the NHL level, if not 3.6m roughly to add another player

League minimum guy to replace Lucic role if you want him

you can't send Monahan back to Calgary with retained salary. A team can not re-aquire a player with retained salary within 1 year of them being moved.

Monahan cannot be traded back to Calgary with retained salary as he was on their roster in the last calendar year. Also applies to Dadonov to Vegas. They can be re-acquired but not with retained salary.

You act like Holtz is what stops the Devils from wanting Anderson....it's not even the 1st...it's wanting Anderson AT ALL. Give up. You were tricked by Montreal media. Guy isn't worth half his contract let alone anything to give up to acquire him.

NJ isn’t the team that is dumb enough to send a 1st for Josh Anderson. There are much better options on the market for that price

I like it. Especially if Cole would want the same or more next year he's played well. Edmundson could be a relatively cheap 3LD replacement.
