I’d say this is a fair deal on both ends. I love Z but if that’s what it takes, I do this immediately.

Especially Z. Kids got a great motor, great work ethic and you win with players like him. If he isn't scoring, he can hit. Defensively for a rookie, pretty good. Potentially could top out as a 2nd line RW but definitely a 3rd line RW. If it takes Zetterlund as the main piece to get Meier yes NJ has to do this.

Grier’s type is someone who is hard to play against. Z has a great motor and plays with heart. Shakir looks like a wall of a man, with stick handling. Tons of upside, just don’t know enough about his work ethic

Mukhamadullin will join Utica at end of KHL playoff run. Though he had 3? games in AHL prior, we will finally get to see more tape of him on NA surface. He could make NJ next year with Graves & Severson walking (Hughes a lock for the other spot), but I suspect he needs at least half a year in AHL to adjust to NA style of play and the usual two years or so of screw ups that most Blueliners go through when they first get to the show. Four seasons in KHL top level already and he's only 21. Impressive kid. If SJ doesn't mind waiting, he could be a great long term addition...

I think the sharks aren’t going to risk long terms goals for short terms results. We’ll be willing to wait.

As a Jersey fan I'd hate to see Mukhamadullin go. Hope it all works out for both sides.

Not a bad deal but would prefer a higher quality/ceiling piece than Muk or Zetter. Think it's a bit off for SJ versus keeping Meier

No matter what the sharks lose a trade. Timo is insanely good, but if we have to do this to start a fresh rebuild.
