Wait... are you asking the price for Barby or for a Barby + Krug deal?

If you ask mokumboi, the legendary Blues armchair GM, he'd say to get Barby at 50% retained BOS would need to trade the 2023 1st round pick and Fabian Lysell.

Realistically the Blues would ask for a 2nd and 3rd round pick, or substitute the 3rd for a halfway decent prospect (think Brett Harrison type). Problem is BOS doesn't have a 2nd round pick until 2025 which makes things difficult.

1st for Barby is the asking price. Might be able to get him for 2nd and mid level prospect but B’s not having a 2nd til 25 rules that out.

If you are going to take Krug back, you can probably have both for free....

Could probably get away with a 24 2nd and a good 3rd or a good prospect. But 25 hurts. That’s a long way out until the pick will even be felt. Would venture to guess for the Bruins to be seriously in play the 1st is gonna have to be in the table in some fashion
