Chicago trade is fair.

You could certainly argue that Domi isn't playing any better than Engvall at this moment.
So the Leafs are trading SAD, Hirovan, a 2nd and 3rd for Gavrikov. Seems like a lot for position..LHD that has plenty of guys that can play there competently.

If Gavrikov is worth a late first this year and a third, then those three players is essentially what would be in replacement of a 1st rounder. They are nowhere near that kind of value.

Quality over quantity.

Garikov isnt really worth it, mostly because he isnt remotely a need for the leafs and domi is just terrible.
He wouldnt get half the ice time or any of the power play on the leafs and he's abysmal defensively, oh and he simply cannot play center

Jackets need quality over quantity for Gavrikov. Can’t see them taking anything less than a first unless there’s a prospect that is really good involved
